Iljin Group "Materials and Highsolus Not Subject to Tax Investigation"

[Asia Economy Reporter Junhyung Lee] Iljin Group has come forward to refute allegations related to the National Tax Service's tax investigation.

According to Iljin Group on the 17th, the company's major affiliates Iljin Materials and Iljin Highsolus have not been subject to a tax investigation by the National Tax Service. A senior official from Iljin Group stated, "Iljin Materials and Iljin Highsolus have never undergone an on-site investigation by the National Tax Service," emphasizing, "In particular, there has never been a seizure of computers or documents during any on-site investigation."

The official also pointed out that some reports mentioned are unrelated to the facts. He said, "Some articles claiming suspicious fund flows related to Iljin Materials' overseas affiliates are completely unfounded," adding, "Iljin Materials has never had any accounting or financial irregularities in its 34 years since establishment."
