[Asia Economy Reporter Byunghee Park] Nihon Keizai reported on the 17th that SoftBank's Vision Fund, led by Chairman Masayoshi Son, has sold 57 million shares of Coupang stock it held.
The Vision Fund sold SoftBank shares at $29.685 per share, totaling $1.69 billion (approximately 1.9886 trillion KRW).
SoftBank is known to have invested a total of $3 billion in 2015 and 2018, holding a 37% stake based on Class A shares after Coupang's IPO.
Coupang was listed on the New York Stock Exchange (NYSE) in the United States last March.
