Nineteen emergency medical institutions in the region, including Gachon University Gil Hospital and Inha University Hospital, which are regional emergency medical centers, will operate in a 24-hour emergency system, and 1,760 clinics and 1,288 holiday duty pharmacies will be open.
In particular, the city plans to continue operating the 'Doctor Helicopter' and 'Doctor Car,' where specialized medical staff directly dispatch to the accident site in case of severe emergency patients, during the Lunar New Year holiday as well, to eliminate medical blind spots and accelerate the operation of the emergency medical system.
Emergency medical institutions and holiday duty pharmacies can be confirmed through phone numbers 119 (Comprehensive Situation Room), 129 (Health and Welfare Call Center), 120 (City/Province Call Center), and the websites of the Ministry of Health and Welfare and Incheon City.
An official from Incheon City stated, "We will operate a situation room and make every effort to ensure the operation of the 24-hour emergency medical system so that citizens do not experience inconvenience due to medical gaps during the Chuseok holiday period."
