Monthly Subscription Period Pass Up to 40% Discount

[Asia Economy Reporter Cha Min-young] SK Broadband announced on the 17th that it has prepared various events allowing customers to enjoy B tv content without burden during the Chuseok holiday, the nation's major traditional holiday.

First, under the theme of "Everyday Travels You Want to Meet Again," a special "B tv Chuseok Tour" section has been curated with recommended works by genre including movies, broadcasts, kids, and animation. For example, for travel enthusiasts, the "Online Overseas Travel" collection features movies set in beautiful travel destinations, and for customers spending the holiday apart from family due to social distancing, a "Family Movies" theme is curated. This is available not only on B tv but also on mobile B tv.

Content for various age groups is also enhanced. Popular kids and animation series such as 'Pororo', 'Secret Jouju', 'Shinbi Apartment', and 'Pok?mon', totaling 113 series and 31 theatrical films, are offered at discounts of up to 70%. New senior content such as "Exciting Trot Collection" and "Yoon Eun-hee's Health Dance," which anyone can easily follow, is also introduced.

Latest content enriches the B tv experience. Hit movies currently in theaters or recently concluded screenings like 'Sinkhole' and 'Rangjong' will be available to B tv customers for Chuseok. Over 110 popular movies, including major releases from this year, are offered at discounts of up to 50%.

About 30 popular movies such as 'Samjin Group English TOEIC Class', '#Alive', and 'Hitman', as well as popular dramas including 'Love (ft. Marriage and Divorce) 2', 'Racket Boys', and 'Crazy Love', are available as abundant free VOD content across all genres.

For ‘OCEAN’, which boasts over 12,000 movies in its domestic movie subscription service, a limited-time discount on the ‘period pass’ is offered during Chuseok. The ‘OCEAN 90-day period pass’ is discounted by 15%, and the ‘OCEAN SELECT 90-day pass’, which collects only popular OCEAN titles, is available at a 40% discount for 9,900 won.

During the Chuseok event period, five winners each will be selected for the titles of ‘Viewing King’ (longest B tv viewing time), ‘Purchasing King’ (most VOD purchases), and ‘Prolific Viewer’ (most content watched), and will receive various prizes including 100,000 won Shinsegae mobile gift certificates. Additionally, there are extra benefits through the mobile B tv ‘Recommend’ feature. If you ‘recommend’ a VOD to family or friends spending the holiday separately, the friend can use the VOD at a 20% discounted price. When the friend actually purchases the VOD, the recommender receives 10% of the payment amount back as B points. The mobile B tv app can be used by up to four family members per subscriber.
