Yuhan Corporation Introduces 'Mega300 Tablets' Containing 300mg of Benfotiamine

[Asia Economy Reporter Chunhee Lee] Yuhan Corporation announced on the 16th that it recently launched Mega300 tablets, a super high-dose active vitamin containing 300 mg of benfotiamine (vitamin B1).

Mega300 tablets contain 300 mg of benfotiamine, which is the highest amount in Korea, and also include 100 mg of vitamin B6, the maximum daily dosage. The tablet size is small, and it is easy to take with just one tablet once a day.

With the launch of Mega300 tablets, Yuhan Corporation has expanded the product line of its OTC brand "MegaTrue." The company also plans to pioneer a new market in the currently saturated vitamin B complex market.

Benfotiamine is an active form of vitamin that acts faster and lasts longer in the body compared to water-soluble thiamine. Additionally, even when taken in high doses, it is safe to use as long as the dosage and administration approved by the Ministry of Food and Drug Safety are followed.

A Yuhan Corporation representative said, "In the fiercely competitive vitamin B complex supplement market, Mega300 tablets, which contain three times the amount of vitamin B1 compared to existing 100 mg products, will undoubtedly attract attention," adding, "We will continue to pioneer the market through various marketing activities."
