[Asia Economy Reporter Ryu Tae-min] Hanyang announced on the 16th that it plans to supply ‘Eco Delta City Hanyang Sujain,’ the first private sale complex within the smart city of Eco Delta City, next month.

This complex will be located at 21BL, Eco Delta City, Gangseo-gu, Busan, consisting of 7 buildings with 2 basement floors and up to 24 floors above ground, with a total of 554 households ranging from 102 to 132㎡ in exclusive area. By type, it features all mid-to-large sized units including ▲102㎡ 312 households ▲107㎡ 68 households ▲132㎡ 174 households.

The complex holds symbolic value as the first apartment supplied within the smart city national pilot city, which is part of the Eco Delta City project site, and is highly valued. Eco Delta City currently plans to supply 28,454 households, but only 3,380 of those are within the smart city supply, making this complex’s rarity even higher.

Eco Delta City, developed as Korea’s first smart new town, will include residential and office facilities, R&D, public, and medical facilities. Geographically, with Pyeonggangcheon Stream, Maekdo River, and Seonakdong River passing through, it is expected to establish itself as a future-oriented eco-friendly waterfront city.

The transportation environment is also excellent. The Gadeok New Airport, for which a special law was passed in February this year, is scheduled to begin construction in 2024, and the double-track railway from Bujeon to Masan is expected to open in December 2022. Additionally, Gimhae Airport, Busan New Port, KTX Busan Station, and the Second Namhae Expressway are located nearby, providing well-established transportation conditions.

Inside the city, numerous urban ecological parks such as Central Park, Semulmeori Waterfront Park, Migratory Bird Feeding Grounds, and Wetland Ecological Park will be created, allowing residents to enjoy a pleasant living environment.

Busan’s ‘Eco Delta City Hanyang Sujain’ also raises expectations for the premium of Hanyang’s housing brand ‘Sujain,’ which was renewed in July this year. As the first project to apply the renewed ‘Sujain,’ under the brand slogan ‘Balance for your Life,’ it will feature enhanced smart home services and Six-zone design and services unique to ‘Sujain’ to meet residents’ housing satisfaction needs.
