[Asia Economy Reporter Lim Juhyung] Actress Kim Booseon, who filed a massive damages lawsuit against Lee Jae-myung, Governor of Gyeonggi Province and a presidential candidate from the Democratic Party of Korea, claimed that she has been subjected to severe personal insults by Governor Lee for 13 years and 8 months.

On the 15th, Kim Booseon wrote on her Facebook, "Hello, great patriotic citizens and true Democratic Party comrades. Lee Jae-myung is deceiving me, comrades, and the entire nation with a genius false scheme," expressing her assertion.

As evidence, Kim Booseon presented a past broadcast episode in which she appeared on the YouTube channel 'Garosero Research Institute' (Gaseyeon). In that broadcast, Kim Booseon invited Gaseyeon members, including lawyer Kang Yong-seok and former MBC reporter Kim Se-ui, to her home in Oksu-dong, Seoul, and claimed, "I mainly dated this person (Governor Lee)."

Regarding this, Kim Booseon said, "With the conviction that the voice of truth will surely be heard, I courageously accepted the filming proposal from Gaseyeon without hesitation and spoke only the truth without distortion or lies. At that time, I also remembered my daughter's earnest requests and advice, and lawyer Kang Yong-seok was not present. I even withdrew the lawsuit against Lee Jae-myung with motherly love and forgiveness," she stated.

Nevertheless, she said that Governor Lee denied the allegations and instead sued her, stating, "But that trash (Governor Lee) filed a complaint against me behind thousands of supporters. He claimed he has no moles on his body and even accused me of false accusation. Even though I underwent the investigation confidently, the case where Lee Jae-myung sued me was eventually dismissed," expressing her outrage, "What should I do with this creepy psychopath?"

Kim Booseon also revealed that it took considerable courage to decide to appear on the conservative-leaning broadcaster 'Gaseyeon,' saying, "However, the leftists pushed me to the edge, forcing me to either die or remain silent, leaving me no choice," she lamented.

Previously, in September 2018, Kim Booseon filed a 300 million KRW damages lawsuit against Governor Lee. This was based on the so-called 'actress scandal' allegations, where Governor Lee denied having a relationship with her and labeled her as a pathological liar and habitual drug user, causing her mental and financial damages. In this lawsuit, Kim Booseon appointed lawyer Kang Yong-seok and lawyer Jang Young-ha, both members of Gaseyeon, as her legal representatives.

Kim Booseon claims that Governor Lee has a mole on a specific part of his body. However, the court rejected her request for a physical examination of Governor Lee, citing concerns over infringement of personal rights.

Separately, Governor Lee voluntarily underwent a physical examination at Ajou University Hospital in Suwon, Gyeonggi Province at that time, and the hospital diagnosed that "there is no mole or trace of removal on the relevant area." However, Kim Booseon criticized Governor Lee's side's claim as a "show."

Before the trial held on the 25th of last month, Kim Booseon met with reporters and tearfully said, "Governor Lee conducted the physical examination as a 'show' in a place with no public authority. This is not about electing a neighborhood chief; he wants to become president, and he is a very dangerous psychopath," she said.
