Hyundai Construction Opens 'Online Recruitment Center' for Partners "Operating Until Year-End"

[Asia Economy Reporter Kangwook Cho] Hyundai Engineering & Construction is launching the industry's first online recruitment center for its partner companies. Reflecting the prolonged COVID-19 situation, the company plans to continue its co-growth efforts with partners by transitioning the 'Partner Company Job Fair,' which began in 2018, to an 'Online Recruitment Center for Partner Companies' this year.

Hyundai Engineering & Construction announced on the 16th that it will open the 'Hyundai Engineering & Construction Partner Company Recruitment Center,' a non-face-to-face, online, continuous recruitment process established this year, on the job matching platform 'Saramin,' running from the 28th until the end of the year.

Through this program, Hyundai Engineering & Construction will directly match (Matching) professional talent development with employment. This will provide high-quality recruitment information and job opportunities not only to current students and graduates of the Hyundai Engineering & Construction Technical Training Institute but also to job seekers aspiring to work in the construction industry, while offering partner companies facing recruitment difficulties the chance to hire excellent talent.

The participating companies in this program are partner companies performing various construction projects with Hyundai Engineering & Construction across the civil engineering, architecture, housing, and plant sectors. They will communicate with job seekers through the registration of recruitment announcements and hiring on an ongoing basis.

Hyundai Engineering & Construction has held five offline job fair events so far. A total of 167 partner companies have participated cumulatively, and about 70 graduates of the Technical Training Institute have been finally employed by partner companies to date.

A Hyundai Engineering & Construction official said, "Through this program, we believe it will help create youth jobs by actively providing employment opportunities not only to graduates of the Hyundai Engineering & Construction Technical Training Institute but also to job seekers in various fields of the construction industry during these difficult times of COVID-19 and employment challenges." He added, "We plan to continuously develop programs to operate more diverse and new recruitment support programs in the future."
