Seongsu-dong Acro Seoul Forest Deposit 2 Billion KRW with Monthly Rent 27 Million KRW
Seoul's Highest Jeonse Price is 3.6 Billion KRW at Daechi-dong Raemian Daechi Palace
As of July this year, the apartment with the highest monthly rent among jeonse and wolse transactions in Seoul was 'Acro Seoul Forest' in Seongsu-dong 1-ga, Seongdong-gu, recording 27 million KRW.
According to data analyzed by Kim Sang-hoon, a member of the National Assembly Land, Infrastructure and Transport Committee from the People Power Party, based on the Ministry of Land, Infrastructure and Transport's actual transaction price disclosure system on the 16th, the apartment, built last year, with an exclusive area of 264.5㎡, was traded in July with a deposit of 2 billion KRW and a monthly rent of 27 million KRW. This amount is close to the average annual salary (28.52 million KRW) of a first-year college graduate working at a small or medium-sized enterprise last year.
The apartment with the second highest monthly rent was 'Enigma Ville 2' in Cheongdam-dong, Gangnam-gu, with an exclusive area of 230.7㎡, rented at 12 million KRW per month (deposit 300 million KRW). Following that, 'Banpo Xi' in Banpo-dong, Seocho-gu, with an exclusive area of 245㎡ was traded at 10 million KRW per month (deposit 1 billion KRW), and 'Hannam The Hill' in Hannam-dong, Yongsan-gu, with an exclusive area of 177.8㎡ was traded at 8 million KRW per month (deposit 1.2 billion KRW).
The highest jeonse transaction was at 'Raemian Daechi Palace' located in Daechi-dong, Gangnam-gu, with an exclusive area of 151.3㎡ and a deposit of 3.6 billion KRW.
Following that, 'Banpo Xi' in Banpo-dong, Seocho-gu, with an exclusive area of 216.5㎡ was traded at 3.2 billion KRW, 'Acro River Park' in the same neighborhood with an exclusive area of 130㎡ was also traded at 3.2 billion KRW, and 'Tower Palace 3' in Dogok-dong, Gangnam-gu, with an exclusive area of 163.7㎡ was traded at 3 billion KRW.
Assemblyman Kim criticized, "Ultra-high-priced jeonse and wolse apartments with monthly rents of 27 million KRW and jeonse deposits of 3.6 billion KRW are also protected under the three lease laws," adding, "This clearly exposes the failure of the policy."
