[Asia Economy Reporter Ji Yeon-jin] Ahead of the Chuseok holiday next week, the stock market has entered a wait-and-see mode.


According to the Korea Exchange on the 13th, the KOSPI index started trading at 3,117.35, down 8.41 points from the previous trading day. As of 9:14 a.m., the decline narrowed to 3,210.43. Individuals net sold about 30.7 billion KRW, while foreigners and institutions net sold approximately 17.2 billion KRW and 14 billion KRW, respectively.


At the same time, the KOSDAQ index was trading at 1,035.06, down 2.85 points (0.27%). Individuals net sold 102.9 billion KRW, foreigners net sold 68.5 billion KRW, and institutions sold 29.1 billion KRW.
