Emart is joining hands with SSG.com to officially launch omni-service for golf equipment at 38 golf shops nationwide.
[Asia Economy Reporter Lim Chun-han] Emart announced on the 10th that it will officially launch an omni-service for golf products at 38 golf shops nationwide in collaboration with SSG.com.
This service allows customers to check the desired products and stores with available stock on SSG.com, place an order, and pick up the products at the store at their preferred time by D+2 days after the order date. The eligible products include all golf items sold on SSG.com Emart Mall that are available for store delivery. After confirming the products and completing the payment process, the final payment is processed, allowing customers to see the actual products before deciding whether to purchase.
The reason Emart is implementing the golf omni-service is to attract MZ generation (Millennials + Generation Z) golfers. These customers often search for product information online and make purchase decisions accordingly. Additionally, the proportion of beginners starting golf is higher compared to other age groups, leading to increased demand for consultations about golf clubs.
An Emart official stated, “We have prepared an omni-service that combines the advantages of online and offline channels to enhance consumer convenience and meet their needs,” adding, “We also plan to organize exclusive events for customers using the store pickup service in the future to further strengthen consumer benefits.”
