With this MyData license acquisition, the company will be able to participate in the MyData business starting December 1.
Kiwoom Securities' MyData focuses on realizing the paradigm of "data growing customers' assets" by leveraging its know-how in operating the largest financial investment platform in Korea and the synergy of IT/financial affiliates within the DaouKiwoom Group. To this end, the company plans to deploy services that maximize customers' investment assets, such as robo-asset management, which has recorded top cumulative returns in ISA, and simple investments using surplus funds.
Additionally, by utilizing the capabilities of its financial affiliates, Kiwoom Securities plans to provide services that minimize financial costs, such as reducing loan interest and checking unclaimed insurance money. The company aims to create a platform where consumers can safely trust and entrust their data by leveraging its IT operational capabilities and security technologies that have securely managed the highest traffic among domestic financial platforms.
Kiwoom Securities is known to have organized a dedicated task force to prepare for providing MyData services. Industry analysts view that Kiwoom Securities, which is preparing to qualify as a comprehensive financial investment business operator, has laid the foundation to leap forward as a comprehensive financial platform through this MyData license.
A Kiwoom Securities official stated, "We are preparing the MyData platform by utilizing Kiwoom Securities' strengths in financial investment and DaouKiwoom Group's IT capabilities, focusing on directly helping customers grow their held assets through MyData."
