JAYJUN Cosmetic Wins 1st Place in 2021 Brand of the Year Awards... "5 Consecutive Years"

[Asia Economy Reporter Yoo Hyun-seok] Cosmetic specialist company Jayjun Cosmetic (hereinafter Jayjun) has won first place for five consecutive years in the China mask pack category at the 2021 Brand of the Year Awards.

Jayjun announced on the 9th that it was selected as the final first place by receiving the highest number of votes in the ‘Mask Pack of the Year chosen by Chinese consumers’ category through local online and mobile voting in China at the ‘2021 Brand of the Year Awards’ hosted by the Korea Consumer Forum, beating strong contenders.

Celebrating its 19th anniversary this year, the Brand of the Year Awards is the largest brand award in Korea, selecting the most loved brands of the year through nationwide consumer voting and committee deliberation every year. Approximately 610,000 people in Korea and about 1,540,000 people in China, the largest number of participants ever, took part in the voting for the ceremony that honors the best brands in each field.

A Jayjun official said, “The fact that this award is given through direct voting by local Chinese consumers makes the five consecutive years of first place in the Brand of the Year Awards even more meaningful,” and added, “We will continue to present products with good quality and efficacy to repay customer trust.”

Launched in 2015 under the slogan ‘Responsible for Beauty,’ Jayjun has established itself as a representative K-beauty brand in domestic and overseas markets such as China with excellent products. Based on various mask pack products such as the Black Water Glow Mask and Intensive Shining Mask, it is expanding its basic skincare line and strengthening its position as a global cosmetic brand.

Recently, as sales of sleeping pack products that allow easy skin care while sleeping have surged, Jayjun has renewed two representative mask packs and is actively developing and launching products reflecting trends in the Chinese market. Through this, it is capturing not only its existing customer base but also the younger generation, maintaining steady popularity in China and enhancing the status of Korean brands in the Chinese mask pack market.

Meanwhile, in April, Jayjun launched the ‘Okra Phyto Mucin Skincare’ containing plant-based mucin ingredients and is practicing social responsibility by participating in activities to cultivate young pine forests and donating funds for tree planting together with the nonprofit organization ‘Saengmyeong-ui Sup (Forest of Life).’
