"Traveling the World's Landmarks with Ttukgabi"
Prizes such as travel vouchers and Shinsegae gift certificates awarded through the event
[Asia Economy Reporter Kim Yuri] Shinsegae Duty Free announced on the 9th that from the 10th of this month to the 10th of next month, it will collaborate with HiteJinro to launch six types of World Edition soju glasses under the unique collaboration titled 'Ttukgabi longing for overseas travel' and hold a commemorative campaign.
The 'Ttukgabi Longing for Overseas Travel World Edition 6 Types' is a limited edition soju glass merchandise created through a collaboration between Shinsegae Duty Free and HiteJinro's 'Jinro Is Back' to provide fresh fun to customers who are disappointed by not being able to travel due to COVID-19.
The Ttukgabi soju glasses feature designs of the Ttukgabi character using landmarks and iconic representative items from six major travel countries across continents including the United States, France, Australia, Italy, and Thailand. Shinsegae Duty Free expects this to substitute the small joy of collecting souvenirs when visiting tourist spots during travel.
To commemorate the first collaboration, Shinsegae Duty Free is conducting a campaign on its online mall, offering prizes worth a total of 25 million KRW. Anyone who is a member of the Shinsegae Duty Free online mall can participate by scanning the QR code on the packaging of the Jinro World Edition planned products.
The Jinro World Edition planned product consists of six bottles of Jinro soju plus two types of World Edition soju glasses randomly included. It will be available from the 10th at over 380 large supermarkets nationwide, including Emart.
The raffle prizes include ▲1st prize (6 winners): travel vouchers (2 tickets per person worth 1 million KRW each) to travel to the World Edition countries ▲2nd prize (1 winner): one-night stay voucher for the Lescape Hotel Atelier Deluxe Room ▲3rd prize (150 winners): Shinsegae gift certificates worth 50,000 KRW ▲4th prize (500 winners): Shinsegae gift certificates worth 10,000 KRW. Additionally, the first 15,000 participants who submit correct quiz answers and supportive comments will receive 1,000 SomMoney (exclusive to the online mall) usable for duty-free shopping.
By participating in the Shinsegae Duty Free SNS regram event held simultaneously, winners will be randomly awarded four types of World Edition soju glasses separately through a draw.
A Shinsegae Duty Free official said, "We expect this collaboration to provide consumers with fresh experiences and unique enjoyment," adding, "We hope the world travel concept goods will help ease the disappointment of paused overseas travel." They also stated, "We plan to hold various collaboration events with HiteJinro in the future."
