[Asia Economy Reporter Hyungsoo Park] Carelabs announced on the 8th that its subsidiary Goodoc will provide partnership benefits for COVID-19 vaccine recipients.
Goodoc is expanding its GoodocCare COVID-19 vaccine verification service provided within the platform through linkage with public data from the Korea Disease Control and Prevention Agency. It offers more than 20 partnership benefit services for vaccine recipients, including a 40% discount on Socar rental fees and discounts on Hana Tour safe travel packages.
The company expects that the connected reward system of the medical and non-medical ecosystem established through partnership services will act as an encouragement for COVID-19 vaccination at the private sector level. Goodoc holds the top position as the number one non-face-to-face medical platform in South Korea. Based on user scalability, it plans to continuously enhance benefits for vaccine recipients with the goal of surpassing 100 partner companies within the year.
Since last month, Goodoc has been providing the ‘GoodocCare Vaccine Verification Service,’ which allows users to download and externally share vaccine certificates using smartphones. Users of this service receive 5,000 points usable at the ‘Goodoc Store,’ where healthcare-exclusive products such as masks, self-test kits, and health supplements are sold.
Park Kyung-deuk, CEO of Goodoc, said, "GoodocCare aims to establish a virtuous cycle category service that integrates and personalizes my health information and provides individual partnership benefits, serving as a personal mobile primary care platform."
He added, "Support for benefits targeting vaccine recipients is also a shared effort with partner companies participating in the greater cause of overcoming COVID-19 and expanding the healthcare data ecosystem. We will strive to evolve into a better service by adding functions such as health checkup management in the future."
