This consortium, known as the "Korean Hydrogen Council," is expected to play a significant role.

The 'Korea H2 Business Summit' held at KINTEX in Goyang City on this day will be attended by major corporate leaders such as Chung Eui-sun, Chairman of Hyundai Motor Group; Chey Tae-won, Chairman of SK Group; and Shin Dong-bin, Chairman of Lotte Group. The Korea H2 Business Summit operates as a Chief Executive Officer (CEO) consortium. It plans to hold regular general meetings and forums to promote hydrogen investment by domestic companies. At the general meeting on this day, discussions are expected regarding the operation plans of the consortium to realize a hydrogen society and achieve carbon neutrality.

Earlier, Chairman Chung, Chairman Chey Tae-won, Chairman Choi Jeong-woo, and Chairman Cho Hyun-joon of Hyosung Group met in June at the Hyundai Motor and Kia Technology Research Center in Hwaseong, Gyeonggi Province, to discuss the establishment of the hydrogen companies consortium. Subsequently, Lotte, Hanwha, GS, and Doosan expressed their intention to participate. After the general meeting, they plan to tour the Hydrogen Mobility+ Show venue, which opened on the same day.
