[Asia Economy Reporter Heeyoon Kim] Gurumi, a video conferencing solution company (CEO Ranghyuk Lee), announced on the 6th that it has signed an agreement with Logitech and will conduct a video equipment package promotion integrating video solutions and devices.

Under this agreement, Gurumi plans to link its video conferencing application 'Gurumi Biz' with Logitech's video conferencing devices 'MeetUp' and 'Rally Bar' to enhance corporate work efficiency and accelerate digital transformation.

Especially as the non-face-to-face culture has recently expanded socially, increasing the need for video conferencing, the collaboration between the two companies is expected to create synergy. The Gurumi-Logitech video equipment promotion will run for about a month until the 31st of this month, offering discounts of up to approximately 75%.

The Gurumi-Logitech video equipment promotion consists of two packages: the 'GurumitUp' package for small meeting rooms (about 75% discount) and the 'LumiRally' package for medium/large meeting rooms (about 55% discount). Both packages provide high-quality video conferencing up to Full HD and interactive meetings and training sessions accommodating up to about 1,000 participants.

The Gurumi video solution supports multi-devices such as laptops and mobiles, as well as various operating systems including Windows and Mac. It enhances convenience by allowing access through an internet browser without separate program installation. Additionally, the sign-up and login procedures are omitted to maximize customer convenience. Features aimed at improving work efficiency are also noteworthy. Document sharing and whiteboard functions enable sharing of materials for efficient meetings and training.

Gurumi provides strong video security to conduct video conferences safely. Server communication is encrypted with DTLS (Datagram Transport Layer Security) and SRTP (Secure Real-time Transport Protocol) for secure transmission. Also, all data (video and file materials) during video conferences are not stored on the server, allowing users to conduct video conferences securely. Gurumi officials explained that differentiated competitiveness also lies in A/S, which provides wired consultation and remote support to respond promptly to customer inquiries.

Yoo Minjae, Head of Business Division at Gurumi, said, “As digital transformation accelerates recently, many companies have been considering the utilization of outdated meeting rooms for telecommuting and video meetings. We are pleased to provide digital meeting rooms at reasonable prices through collaboration with Logitech. We will support successful non-face-to-face business activities for companies.”
