Only Sweetness Remains Without Any Freshness...
There are days when neither the coffee nor the smoothie you drink every day appeals to you, and you suddenly crave a refreshing and sweet fruit-flavored drink. Were you looking for a beverage that's perfect for cleansing your palate? If so, you've come to the right place. However, if you're expecting the same freshness as fruit juices from a specialty fresh fruit store, you might be somewhat disappointed. Here are three sweet and charming fruit juices you can find at convenience stores?let's check them out now.
Watermelon with Aloe
This is a watermelon juice from the American company OKF. Even the PET bottle packaging strongly conveys the presence of watermelon. Although it is watermelon juice, it contains aloe, making it quite a challenging product for an editor who has only tried fruit juices sold at fresh fruit specialty stores.
However, the conclusion is that this product is not recommended for those expecting the crisp and cool taste unique to watermelon. Of course, taste is subjective, but even for an editor who prefers sweet and sour drinks, it felt quite sweet. The sweetness was too strong, yet the watermelon flavor was not intense. Rather, it was quite bland. One might wonder if aloe vera gel was added to compensate for that mild taste.
Shine Muscat with Aloe
Next, I chose the Shine Muscat flavor from the same product line. Personally, I recommend Shine Muscat over Watermelon. It might be because Shine Muscat grapes naturally have a strong sweet and tangy flavor, but this product seemed to capture the expected taste of ‘Shine Muscat’ well. Also, the aloe bits (aloe vera gel) blend naturally with the drink.
It might taste even better if you freeze it briefly until it forms slush. While it’s not extremely tangy, it’s a perfect drink to quench your thirst. It might remind you of the grape drink classic, the Grape BongX product. But with a little extra sweetness added...!
Tart Cherry Collagen
Although I love eating fresh cherries more than anyone, I usually don’t enjoy processed cherry products like canned cherries, cherry preserves, or cherry tarts. However, the tart cherry drink exceeded my expectations. It captures both sweetness and tanginess, and despite being a processed cherry product, the flavor is not overwhelming.
Although it’s a cherry drink, it stands out with a refreshing charm comparable to red vinegar or pomegranate juice. Among the three drinks tasted together, it is the easiest to enjoy without feeling heavy. I would recommend it to those who have been interested in collagen intake.
