Subscription Package Benefits First Month... 100 Won · 1000 Won Promotion
[Asia Economy Reporter Eunmo Koo] SK Telecom officially launched the subscription service "T Wooju" on the 31st, which is available not only to SK Telecom customers but also to all 50 million customers nationwide.
T Wooju is divided into the monthly 9,900 KRW "Wooju Pass All" and the monthly 4,900 KRW "Wooju Pass Mini." The 9,900 KRW Wooju Pass All provides basic benefits such as free shipping on Amazon, a 10,000 KRW discount coupon, 3,000 points on 11st, and 100GB Google One membership. Additionally, customers can choose one individual subscription product worth 8,000 to 10,000 KRW per month. The 4,900 KRW Wooju Pass Mini offers basic benefits from Amazon and 11st, and customers can select either the highly popular cloud service (Google One) or OTT service (Wavve).
To commemorate the launch of T Wooju, SK Telecom is offering Wooju Pass Mini for 100 KRW and Wooju Pass All for 1,000 KRW. This first-month promotion will run for three months until November 30. Also, if customers register the 11st Shinhan Card as a payment method for Wooju Pass, they can earn 6,000 SK Pay points every month.
Furthermore, among Wooju Pass subscribers who enter the draw, nine winners will be selected to travel to the United States, where the headquarters of T Wooju’s global partners such as Amazon, Starbucks, and Google are located, through the "Global Wooju Partners Tour." Winners will receive a premium tour voucher worth approximately 10 million KRW, usable at any time within three years, and may bring companions within the 10 million KRW limit.
The "Wooju Shopping" promotion is also underway. After subscribing to Wooju Pass, customers visit the 11st Amazon Global Store, add desired products to their cart, capture the screen, and enter the promotion site. Winners will receive shopping support funds up to 10 million KRW in SK Pay points. In addition to one grand prize winner of 10 million KRW, weekly winners will be announced for four weeks: one winner of 5 million KRW and three winners of 1 million KRW each.
Additionally, the ICT multiplex "T Factory" located on Hongdae Street is operating an exhibition content themed around Wooju. The exhibition recreates the room of a virtual character named "Mifoo," who enjoys a subscription lifestyle, allowing visitors to experience five senses of Wooju firsthand. Customers who complete the experience will receive a Wooju Partners product (worth about 3,000 KRW) as a reward. Other attractions include a digital lottery game (Fortune Grab) to win 11st Amazon direct purchase discount coupons and interactive media art shaped like "T Wooju," providing various subscription service experiences.
SK Telecom is also operating subscription specialty stores. Currently, pilot subscription specialty stores are running in Gangnam’s Bangbang Intersection and Garosugil in Seoul, and the plan is to expand to 1,000 stores, enhancing both customer convenience and the unique experience of subscription product trials. Visitors to these stores can check products recommended by AI based on big data, as well as products matching their interests and preferences, through an 85-inch large touch table (AI subscription consulting table).
More than 1,200 subscription expert consultants have been deployed. SK Telecom has renamed store staff from "T Manager" to "T Crew" to embody the new goal and meaning of providing customers with optimal subscription services and benefits. From today, all 50 million customers nationwide can freely consult and subscribe to subscription products that suit them through over 3,300 offline stores, the online T World channel, the 11st website, and customer centers.
