Check COVID-19 Mutual Aid National Support Fund on Naver, KakaoTalk, and Toss (Comprehensive)

[Asia Economy Reporter Buaeri] Naver, Kakao, and Toss announced on the 30th that they will provide the ‘COVID-19 Coexistence National Support Fund Guide.’

If you request a notification for the National Support Fund through the Naver app or the National Secretary website, you can check in advance on September 5, the day before the application opens, whether you are eligible, the amount, application period and method, and usage deadline on the Naver app.

The ‘National Secretary Service’ in collaboration with Naver allows users to check notices or bills sent by government ministries through the ‘Naver Electronic Document Service’ and make payments easily using Naver Pay simple remittance.

Previously, users had to apply on the National Secretary website and set the National Secretary platform to Naver to use the service, but from this day, the National Secretary service can also be used on the Naver app. You can easily apply by pulling down the Naver app’s home screen or clicking ‘Na.’ or the profile image at the top, then accessing the Electronic Document Service.

Han Seong-sook, CEO of Naver, said, "We will continue to collaborate with the government and public institutions based on Naver’s service capabilities to expand the types of notifications and make it easy to check administrative information in daily life."

Kakao also started the National Support Fund notification service on KakaoTalk from this day. Users who want to receive notifications about the National Support Fund can search for ‘National Secretary’ in the KakaoTalk top search bar, then agree to join and apply for notifications through the ‘Guppi’ KakaoTalk channel.

Users who applied for the National Support Fund notification will receive information via KakaoTalk from September 5 about eligibility, support amount, application period and method, usage deadline, and available regions and stores. Those who are not eligible for the National Support Fund can file objections at the National Sinmungo or local community centers, and receive objection results notifications via KakaoTalk.

When the application date arrives, guidance on the application deadline and method will be sent via KakaoTalk messages. Also, users who complete the application and receive the National Support Fund will get usage deadline alerts when one month and one week remain.

The mobile financial platform Toss is also accepting applications for receiving COVID-19 Coexistence National Support Fund notifications. You can apply for the notification on the Toss app home screen top banner or the full tab menu. Any adult Toss user (born before December 31, 2002), regardless of household head or member status, can apply.
