[Asia Economy Reporter Eunmo Koo] The Ministry of Science and ICT and the Korea Radio Promotion Association announced on the 30th the opening of the ‘1-Person Media Complex’ as a hub support facility for the domestic one-person media industry.
The 1-Person Media Complex is a specialized support facility established to support the growth of new media industries and to lead the global one-person media market by supporting one-person media creators and startups in related fields. It is equipped with infrastructure such as seven one-person media content production studios with production facilities and equipment, 20 independent office spaces for supporting the growth of related startups, and networking spaces.
Cho Kyung-sik, Vice Minister of the Ministry of Science and ICT, said, “The one-person media field is a new opportunity in the media content industry and has great growth potential through convergence with other fields, making it very favorable for youth entrepreneurship. I hope the complex will establish itself as a key hub that actively supports the challenges and growth of many young people dreaming of media startups.”
The one-person media content production studios are available to anyone through advance reservation, and detailed information such as usage fees and reservation methods can be found on the 1-Person Media Complex website.
