Son Heung-min (29, Tottenham) scored the winning goal in his 200th match in the English Premier League (EPL).
On the 29th (Korean time), Son Heung-min started in the home match against Watford in the 3rd round of the 2021-2022 EPL season at Tottenham Hotspur Stadium in London, England, and scored a free-kick goal in the 42nd minute of the first half. Son Heung-min has scored seventy-two goals and provided thirty-nine assists in 200 matches. Notably, he has scored six goals in ten encounters against Watford, the opponent on this day, making it the second most goals he has scored against a single team after Southampton (9 goals).
Son Heung-min was substituted by Bryan Hill in the 43rd minute of the second half. Tottenham maintained the momentum Son sparked and won 1-0. They are the only EPL team with three consecutive wins, leading the table with 9 points.
