[Asia Economy Reporter Ki-min Lee] Hollywood star Tom Cruise, who is filming 'Mission Impossible 7' in the UK, had his luxury car stolen from the street but recovered it, only to lose all the items stored inside.

BBC reported on the 27th (local time) that Tom Cruise's BMW X7, parked outside a hotel while filming in Birmingham, was stolen.

Local police stated that the BMW X7 theft occurred on Church Street in Birmingham on the morning of the 24th, but the vehicle was soon found nearby.

The Sun reported that Cruise's security team found the car the next day, but the belongings inside had disappeared.

According to the media outlet, the thieves used a method involving scanners to replicate the signal from the car's smart key.

Cruise usually travels from his accommodation in the southeast of England to the filming site by helicopter, and recently it was reported that he had to land in a private home's yard due to the closure of the helicopter landing site.
