The Grand Prize of the Jeong Ju-young Startup Competition This Year Goes to 'Doodlin' Jeong Ju-young Startup Competition Grand Prize Winner Team 'Doodlin'


[Asia Economy Reporter Kim Cheol-hyun] Asan Nanum Foundation (Chairman Han Jung-hwa) announced on the 27th that it has concluded the six-month journey that began last March with the demo day of the "10th Chung Ju-yung Startup Competition."


The demo day was held online via live streaming on Asan Nanum Foundation's YouTube channel on the 26th, featuring presentations from 12 teams that advanced to the business execution stage after overcoming a competition ratio of 90 to 1. The grand prize was awarded to the startup "Doodlin," which develops and operates the enterprise recruitment management solution "Greeting." During the business execution period, Doodlin showed steady growth by discussing business strategies and developing their business model with mentor Choi Kyung-hee, a partner at Sopung Ventures.


The excellence awards went to "Stockkeeper" and "Silvia," while the merit awards were given to "Recupery," "Space Weeby," "Silver Lining," and "Tread & Groove." Encouragement awards were presented to "Dopamint," "Seshat," "With Without," "GC&COMPANY," and "Paprika Data Lab." The Maru Special Award was also won by Doodlin.


Doodlin, the grand prize winner, received 50 million KRW, and the excellence award teams each received 20 million KRW. The four merit award teams were awarded 10 million KRW each, the five encouragement award teams received 5 million KRW each, and the Maru Special Award team was granted 5 million KRW. All award-winning teams will be eligible for support from Asan Nanum Foundation when expanding overseas in the future, and will enjoy various benefits provided to Maru startup center residents, including promotional marketing support, expert matching programs, and recommendations to venture capital investors.


Lee Tae-gyu, CEO of Doodlin and grand prize winner, said, "I believe we have grown through various experiences by advancing to the business execution stage of the Chung Ju-yung Startup Competition. Receiving such a great award motivates us to continue diligently working on our business and become a team that changes the recruitment culture in Korea."


Han Jung-hwa, Chairman of Asan Nanum Foundation, said, "Looking at the business models of the 12 teams that participated in the demo day, I saw a startup philosophy aimed at resolving everyday inconveniences and solving social problems.
