[Asia Economy Yeongnam Reporting Headquarters Reporter Kim Yong-woo] Will Christmas presents come in August as well?

On the 24th, Korea Hydro & Nuclear Power's Saewool Nuclear Power Headquarters packed and delivered 100 gift boxes for vulnerable elderly at the Nambu Senior Welfare Center in Ulju-gun.

This is Saewool Headquarters' "Christmas in August" event. The unexpected Santa's gifts were worth 7 million won.

The event is a social contribution project by Saewool Nuclear Power Headquarters to donate daily necessities and other gifts to neighbors in need in the region, held annually in cooperation with the Nambu Senior Welfare Center in Ulju-gun.

Saewool Headquarters and Nambu Senior Welfare Center, while adhering to COVID-19 prevention guidelines, prepared gift boxes containing daily necessities such as rice worth about 70,000 won and masks, and delivered them as "untact Santa" gifts to 100 low-income elderly households.

Lee Sang-min, head of Saewool Headquarters, said, "I hope this sharing will help the elderly who are struggling due to infectious diseases and other difficulties," and added, "We will strive to support neighbors in need even outside of August."
