[Asia Economy Reporter Yuri Kim] Novotel Ambassador Seoul Dongdaemun Hotel & Residences announced on the 24th that it will launch the '2021 Chuseok Gift Set' and 'Chuseok Gourmet Box.'

The Chuseok gift set includes the 'Novotel Lifestyle Collection' bedding set, dried shiitake mushrooms (Heukhwago), truffle set, and gift certificates for hotel products.

The 'Lifestyle Collection' offers bedding sets, goose down comforter sets, bath robes & towel sets for purchase. The gift set of Heukhwago, known for its thick texture and excellent taste and aroma, and the truffle set including black truffle oil & bruschetta are popular items. Reservations for the Chuseok gift set must be made at least 3 days in advance, and sales continue until September 22. Prices range from 50,000 KRW to 650,000 KRW.

The signature product of Novotel Ambassador Dongdaemun, the Gourmet Box, is also available as a Chuseok holiday menu. The Chuseok Gourmet Box is prepared with essential dishes for the ancestral rites table or holiday meals. The menu includes about 10 representative holiday dishes such as various jeon (Korean pancakes), grilled yellow croaker, braised beef short ribs, and royal court japchae, from which customers can select 5 items. Additional menu options such as LA galbi, stir-fried beef, and abalone jang can be chosen, with extra charges starting from 50,000 KRW.

Reservations for the Chuseok Gourmet Box are available until September 15, and must be made at least 3 days before the pickup date. Prices start from 179,000 KRW.
