[Asia Economy Reporter Kim Bo-kyung] The Women Entrepreneurs Comprehensive Support Center announced on the 24th that it successfully completed a wanghong (influencer) review live broadcast to promote five domestic K-beauty women-owned companies in the Chinese market.
The center's "2021 China Distribution Network Entry and Wanghong Promotion" project supports the entry of various K-beauty women-owned companies into China, ranging from basic products to mask packs and makeup products. The selected companies ▲Doctor Project ▲Lala Beauty Cosmetic ▲Bom Trading ▲Cynthia View ▲Enhance B are supported with entry into China's largest e-commerce platform Tmall Global and Meipai Group's own mall, as well as wanghong review live broadcasts and promotional live broadcasts.
In particular, a wanghong promotional live broadcast is scheduled for October to coincide with China's largest holiday, National Day. On the 20th, to promote products in advance, a live review and promotion broadcast of 34 product items from participating companies was held together with popular beauty and food wanghongs Jessica (???) and Shuwen (徐雯), who have 500,000 followers on Chinese SNS.
During the three-hour live broadcast, there were 8.14 million cumulative viewers and 500,000 concurrent viewers. Representatives of the participating companies also appeared directly to introduce products and communicated in real time with Chinese consumers watching the live broadcast.
The Women Entrepreneurs Comprehensive Support Center stated, "This review live broadcast was planned to enhance the local promotional effect and sales performance of the wanghong promotional live broadcast for China's National Day," and added, "We will actively reflect the results of the review live broadcast and local feedback to prepare for the October wanghong promotional live broadcast."
