As of August, Dongchuncheon 84%, Namchuncheon (District 1) 99% Sales Rate
[Asia Economy Reporter Ra Young-cheol] Chuncheon City in Gangwon Province is pushing forward with the development of new industrial complexes, fueled by the acceleration of industrial complex sales.
According to the city on the 20th, as of August this year, the sales rate of industrial complexes reached 84% in Dongchuncheon and 99% in Namchuncheon (District 1).
Recently, the city signed occupancy contracts with five companies relocated from the metropolitan area and three local companies, completing 99% of sales.
The city analyzed these achievements as a result of growing interest from companies centered in the metropolitan area in Chuncheon industrial complexes and the city's efforts to revitalize corporate attraction.
With the industrial complex sales rate nearing 100%, the city plans to promote the development of new industrial complexes.
By the end of the year, the city will conduct basic planning and feasibility studies for Namchuncheon Industrial Complex (District 2) and decide on development plans and methods.
Additionally, small-scale industrial complexes will be developed concurrently to respond to short-term corporate demand.
To support early settlement of investment companies and job creation, the city will also assist with post-management, including administrative procedures related to factory construction and new investments.
A city official stated, "We plan to attract future growth-driving industries and promote industrial complex sales to realize a vibrant corporate city."
