Tirobotics Subsidiary Expands 'VR Simulator' at Dongtan Lotte Department Store

[Asia Economy Reporter Jang Hyowon] Motion Device, a subsidiary of Tirobotics Co., Ltd., announced that it will open an additional VR simulator experience center (Kong VR) on the 20th through Lotte Department Store in Dongtan.

The newly opened Lotte Department Store Dongtan branch is a building with a total floor area of 280,000 pyeong, making it the largest department store in Korea.

Motion Device's VR simulator is a VR experience device that provides effects similar to actually boarding various content such as games, 4D movies, cars, airplanes, and boats through VR equipment.

Motion Device installed the Kong VR zone in an approximately 50-pyeong space in the cinema area on the 7th floor of Lotte Department Store and operates a total of eight devices, including VR equipment for the children's content 'Shinbi Apartment.'

Motion Device has been operating Kong VR simulators at domestic locations such as Lotte World Mall and Lotte Giheung Outlet for the VR simulator business. Previously, it also operated Kong VR simulators at the Gangnam direct store as well as in Japan and China.

Motion Device stated, "We plan to strengthen investments in various content development and device development to enhance the VR business and market competitiveness."
