[Yeongam=Asia Economy Honam Reporting Headquarters Reporter Seo Young-seo] The 'Four Seasons Theme Mural Reflecting Hometown' in Anpung Village, Dopyo-myeon, Yeongam-gun, Jeollanam-do, is attracting attention.

According to the county on the 19th, the 50-meter-long section vividly depicts spring, summer, autumn, and winter scenes filled with the warm image of hometown, providing comfort not only to residents exhausted by COVID-19 but also to passersby traveling through the village.

This mural painting project was carried out as part of Jeollanam-do's new initiative, 'Creating the Best Clean Jeonnam Villages,' aimed at revitalizing the depressed village atmosphere, restoring the spirit of the resident community, and preparing for the post-COVID-19 era.

The project is characterized by voluntary participation of residents, and Anpung Village, along with Sungui and Moku-dong Villages, was selected as the target site in Dopyo-myeon this year.

Hwang Tae-yong, the head of the myeon, expressed gratitude for the strong interest and participation of residents centered around the village chief, stating, "As this is a three-year project, we will spare no administrative support to establish it as a resident-led initiative."
