POSCO Construction Wins Remodeling Contract for Yongin Gwanggyo Sanghyeon Village Hyundai

POSCO Engineering & Construction has consecutively won remodeling contracts in the Suji area of Yongin.

On the 15th, POSCO E&C announced that it was finally selected as the construction company for the remodeling project through a vote by the housing cooperative of Gwanggyo Sanghyeonmaeul Hyundai Apartment in Yongin, Gyeonggi Province on the 14th.

Gwanggyo Sanghyeonmaeul Hyundai Apartment is a complex consisting of 7 buildings and 498 households, completed in 2001. POSCO E&C plans to remodel the complex by horizontally and separately expanding it to 8 buildings and 572 households. The 74 newly constructed units will be sold to the general public, and the total construction cost is expected to be 192.7 billion KRW.

Earlier, on the 31st of last month, POSCO E&C was also selected as the construction company for the remodeling project of Dongbu Apartment in Suji, Yongin, with a construction cost of 177.8 billion KRW. This complex was completed in 1995 and is planned to expand from 6 buildings and 612 households to 6 buildings and 687 households. The construction cost is 177.8 billion KRW.

A POSCO E&C official said, "We will actively participate in several projects in the Suji area of Yongin, which is proactive in promoting remodeling, to create a large-scale 'The Sharp Brand Town.' We will provide the best apartments to deliver the highest satisfaction to the cooperative members."
