CJ Seafood Reports Operating Profit of 600 Million KRW in 2Q, Down 73% from Previous Quarter

[Asia Economy Reporter Ji Yeon-jin] CJ Seafood announced on the 10th that its sales in the second quarter increased by 8.8% year-on-year to 35.9 billion KRW. Operating profit during this period rose 4.8% to 600 million KRW, and net profit increased 29.0% to 600 million KRW.

However, compared to the previous quarter, sales decreased by 12.3%, and operating profit and net profit fell by 73.9% and 56.1%, respectively.
