Recruitment Briefing Session via Live Commerce on the 13th of This Month
[Asia Economy Reporter Jo In-kyung] eBay Korea announced on the 10th that it will hire more than twice the usual number of mid-level developers through its second half of 2021 open recruitment for developers.
The recruitment fields include a total of 27 positions in software (SW) development/technical roles such as ▲Frontend (FE) ▲Backend (BE) ▲Platform ▲System ▲Application ▲Data ▲Security. They are looking for talent to lead the development of advanced products and services centered on customer experience, and the eligibility criteria target candidates with 3 to 8 years of practical experience in related fields.
Applications can be submitted through eBay Korea’s official recruitment website until the 19th. During this month, document screening and interviews will be conducted, followed by basic job competency tests such as coding tests in early next month. Results of each screening stage will be individually notified only to successful candidates, and the final successful candidates are expected to join by the end of September.
For this recruitment, eBay Korea will also hold an industry-first live commerce recruitment briefing session at 5 p.m. on the 13th. The briefing, conducted under the concept of selling 'eBay’s job,' will be hosted by Lee Junho, the show host of eBay Korea’s entertainment-style live broadcast 'Jangsa-ui Sindong.' HR personnel and developers from eBay Korea will directly participate to introduce the recruitment process, job roles, and corporate culture.
