Bitcoin up 5.4% to 49 million won... Ethereum at 3.31 million won

According to the cryptocurrency exchange Bithumb, as of 9:30 AM that day, 1 Bitcoin is priced at 49,257,000 KRW, up 5.36% compared to 24 hours earlier. At the same time, on Upbit, Bitcoin is priced at 49,228,000 KRW per coin.

The price of Bitcoin was in the 44 million KRW range around 8 PM the previous day but surged sharply within 12 hours.

The second largest cryptocurrency by market capitalization, Ethereum, is trading at 3,317,000 KRW on Bithumb, up 2.12% compared to 24 hours earlier. On Upbit, it is priced at 3,316,000 KRW per coin.

Unlike stocks, cryptocurrency prices vary slightly depending on the exchange because prices are set per exchange unit even for the same type of cryptocurrency.
