[Asia Economy Reporter Ki Ha-young] Samsung Card announced on the 6th that it will introduce the "Easy Meal Subscription Shopping Contract Service (My Cooker Plan)" linked with the new concept cooking device "Bespoke Cooker," optimized for cooking meal kits and ready meals, in collaboration with Samsung Electronics.

The Bespoke Cooker is a 4-in-1 device equipped with microwave, grill, air fryer, and toast functions, featuring four cooking zones that allow multi-cooking of up to four dishes simultaneously.

The Easy Meal Subscription Shopping Contract Service offers a maximum 450,000 KRW additional discount coupon for the Bespoke Cooker under the condition that customers purchase food products worth at least the contracted amount monthly from partner food companies during the contract period. Through the discount coupon, customers can purchase the Bespoke Cooker, originally priced at 590,000 KRW, for as low as 50,000 KRW.

For example, if a customer chooses a 24-month contract, they will receive a 450,000 KRW additional discount coupon for the Bespoke Cooker on the condition that they spend at least 39,000 KRW monthly at the partner food companies’ direct online stores. This allows the customer to purchase the Bespoke Cooker for 50,000 KRW, which is 450,000 KRW off the existing discounted price of 500,000 KRW on the Samsung Card shopping mall.

The Easy Meal Subscription Shopping Contract Service can be subscribed to through the Samsung Card website or application (app). After subscribing to the service and purchasing the Bespoke Cooker, customers can purchase food products worth at least the contracted amount monthly without item restrictions from the partner food companies’ direct online stores using their Samsung Card under their name during the contract period. When calculating the contracted amount, purchases from partner food companies are aggregated. The partner food companies’ direct online stores include ▲My Chef ▲Fresh Easy ▲Jeongwon e-Shop ▲#Pulmuone ▲Ottogi Mall ▲Dongwon Mall ▲Predit ▲Entree, among others.

To commemorate the launch of the Easy Meal Subscription Shopping Contract Service, Samsung Card is also holding an event. Customers who subscribe to the service and purchase the Bespoke Cooker by the 8th will receive a 50,000 KRW payment date discount benefit, and if they spend a combined total of 50,000 KRW or more at partner food companies’ direct online stores by the end of August, they will receive an additional 10,000 KRW cashback.
