Uljin-gun Provides 100,000 Won Livelihood Support to 4,800 Low-Income Individuals... Separate from Government National Subsidy Uljin County Office.

[Asia Economy Yeongnam Reporting Headquarters Reporter Dongguk Lee] Uljin County, Gyeongbuk announced on the 6th that it will provide additional national support funds of 100,000 KRW per person from the national budget to low-income groups struggling due to the novel coronavirus infection (COVID-19).

The support targets about 4,800 people, including basic livelihood security recipients, legally designated second-lowest income groups, and low-income single-parent families. This support fund is separate from the National Mutual Aid Fund (5th disaster relief fund).

Recipients of basic living and housing benefits, second-lowest income disabled persons, and legally designated single-parent families receiving child-rearing support (as of August 2021) will be supported according to the number of household members after eligibility verification, so no separate application is required. The payment date is the 24th.

However, those eligible for basic medical and education benefits, second-lowest income self-pay reduction, second-lowest income self-support, and second-lowest income group confirmation (as of August 2021) without account information must visit their local eup/myeon office to apply from the 11th to the 18th.

County Governor Jeon Chang-geol stated, "We hope that the additional national support funds for low-income groups will help alleviate the household burden of low-income families struggling due to COVID-19 and contribute to revitalizing the local economy."
