In-Room Breakfast Package Sales Double Each Month from April to June Over Three Months
In-Room Dining Revenue Increased by About 35% in July, Fine Dining Menu Also Available for Order Inside Rooms
"Enjoy OTT Services via Smart TVs in Every Room for a Room-Cation Stay"

[Asia Economy Reporter Kim Yuri] The Grand InterContinental Seoul Parnas announced on the 5th that sales of the 'In-Room Breakfast Package,' which delivers breakfast to guest rooms, have doubled each month from April to June.

The hotel stated, "This package, introduced earlier this year, has seen steady sales growth, reaching its highest sales volume in June. Even after social distancing measures were strengthened to Level 4 in July, sales of this package remained strong, maintaining about 90% of June's sales volume."

The 'In-Room Breakfast Package,' which delivers breakfast directly to guest rooms, has gained steady popularity due to the convenience of no contact with others and no need to leave the room, with breakfast delivered at a set time. All rooms are equipped with LED UHD smart TVs of 55 inches or larger and individually sterilized remote controls, allowing guests to enjoy OTT services.

Guests can choose between Korean and American-style breakfast menus with the 'In-Room Breakfast Package,' which also offers a late checkout service until 2 PM.

Meanwhile, 'In-Room Dining,' which can be ordered inside guest rooms, also showed continuous sales growth in July amid strengthened social distancing measures. Sales increased by about 35% compared to the same period last month. This is interpreted as a rise in demand from summer staycation guests who want to minimize face-to-face contact and handle everything within their rooms.

In addition to the existing in-room menu, all menus from the hotel's Japanese restaurant Hakone and Chinese restaurant Weilu are also available for in-room dining orders. Currently, the Grand InterContinental Seoul Parnas is minimizing frequently contacted notices in line with contact-free services, and all in-room dining menus can be viewed through the smart TVs in every room.

The 'In-Room Breakfast Package' will be available for sale until the end of this year, with prices starting from 326,700 KRW including tax and service charge for a deluxe room.
