Criticism Post by Netizen Claiming to Be a Teacher Spreads
Munsan Elementary Official: "Remarks Insulting Munsan Elementary Teachers... The Author Will Be Severely Punished"
[Asia Economy Reporter Na Ye-eun] An San (20, Gwangju Women's University), the triple gold medalist in archery at the 2020 Tokyo Olympics, visited her alma mater on the 3rd, but a netizen who claimed to be a teacher at the school posted a message saying "Feminist warrior An San is coming," sparking public outrage.
Earlier, on the 3rd, An San visited Munsan Elementary School in Buk-gu, Gwangju, where she first dreamed of becoming a national archery representative. She met the archery coach who taught her and personally guided the juniors.
One hour before An San's visit, an online community on 'DC Inside' posted a photo of a banner that read "Congratulations to An San (Munsan Elementary 18th class) for the first-ever triple gold in Olympic archery," along with a post titled "This is messed up, I'm working and the feminist warrior An San is coming, damn."
When a community user asked, "Are you a student?" the author replied, "Teacher."

Netizens raised their voices demanding a thorough investigation into the post. They criticized, saying, "The poster must be caught," "If such a person is really a teacher, can they properly guide students?" "Lacks teacher qualifications," and "An immediate investigation is necessary."
Meanwhile, Munsan Elementary School is reportedly investigating to identify the author of the post.
A Munsan Elementary official stated, "This post is an insult to Munsan Elementary teachers. We are really very angry. We will definitely find the author and impose severe punishment," adding, "It appears that an outsider impersonated a teacher and posted the message on an online community."
As attention intensified, the post was deleted. However, the captured post has been shared on other online communities and various social networking services (SNS), spreading the controversy further.
