CNN Anchor Actively Involved in Sexual Harassment Allegations Against Brother Cuomo

On the same day, the New York State Attorney General publicly revealed this through an investigative report stating that Governor Cuomo sexually harassed current and former aides and retaliated against employees who disclosed the harassment.

The New York special prosecutor investigating Andrew Cuomo's sexual harassment case stated in the report released that day that Chris Cuomo was included in the response team formed after the governor was embroiled in sexual harassment allegations and had been actively involved.

According to emails seized by the prosecution, Chris Cuomo advised Governor Cuomo to respond with a statement expressing regret and remorse after the sexual harassment victim issued a statement against the governor in February.

At that time, Chris Cuomo advised through email expressions such as "I have spent most of my life at work and my colleagues are also personal friends," and "There was no intention to attack or harm anyone."

Additionally, Chris Cuomo attended a private meeting in May composed of the governor's aides and multiple external advisors.

The prosecution included Chris Cuomo among the 179 investigation subjects due to his active involvement in the sexual misconduct response team.

Chris Cuomo is a flagship anchor hosting the evening news on CNN, and foreign media have focused on whether this incident will affect his position. Regarding this, CNN declined to comment.
