[Breaking] Yang Kyung-soo, Chairman of the Korean Confederation of Trade Unions, Appears Before Police Over 'July 3 Illegal Rally'

[Asia Economy Reporter Jeong Dong-hoon] Yang Kyung-soo, chairman of the Korean Confederation of Trade Unions, who is accused of leading a large-scale rally in downtown Seoul on the 3rd of last month, appeared at the police station on the 4th.

He was booked on charges including violation of the Assembly and Demonstration Act and the Infectious Disease Control and Prevention Act for holding a Korean Confederation of Trade Unions nationwide workers' rally with an estimated 8,000 participants (organizer's estimate) in the Jongno-gu area of Seoul on the 3rd of last month.
