[Asia Economy Reporter Yoon Dong-joo] On the 4th, the presidential primary candidates of the People Power Party visited the Dongja-dong gosiwon village in Yongsan-gu, Seoul, to volunteer by distributing water and Samgyetang to climate-vulnerable groups during the heatwave.
Among the 13 party preliminary candidates, nine participated in the volunteer activity, including Kim Tae-ho, Park Jin, Ahn Sang-soo, Yoon Hee-sook, Won Hee-ryong, Jang Ki-pyo, Jang Sung-min, Ha Tae-kyung, and Hwang Kyo-ahn. Candidate Choi Jae-hyung was represented by his wife due to a conflicting campaign announcement.
Candidate Yoo Seung-min and Hong Joon-pyo were absent due to scheduled local events, and candidate Yoon Seok-youl did not participate as he did not undergo a COVID-19 test.
