From August 2, Safe Call communication fee support for 8,392 workplaces with mandatory entry logs in the region... Full communication fee free until the end of this year, extension possible until next year if needed... Application available on district office website
[Asia Economy Reporter Park Jong-il] Ryoo Kyung-gi, Mayor of Jungnang-gu, has made a bold decision to fully cover the telephone entry log (Safe Call) communication fees for 8,392 businesses required to maintain entry logs in the district from the 2nd until the end of the year, drawing attention.
The district announced that this project aims to eliminate the inconvenience faced by small business owners struggling with manual logbook management amid the prolonged COVID-19 situation and to reduce the financial burden associated with subscribing to the telephone entry log service.
Safe Call is a system that allows visitors to register their entry by calling a unique number assigned to the facility before entering using their mobile phones. Contact information and visit time are automatically saved in the system, and records are deleted four weeks after the visit date.
Using Safe Call eliminates concerns about personal information leakage compared to manual entry, and it allows digitally vulnerable groups who find it difficult to use electronic entry logs with QR codes to easily register their entry with just a phone call.
It also helps prevent cross-infection that can occur when visitors share the same pen or other writing instruments in turn.
The support targets 8,392 businesses in Jungnang-gu required to maintain entry logs, including ▲restaurants and cafes ▲medical institutions and pharmacies ▲academies and private institutes ▲religious facilities ▲indoor sports facilities ▲funeral halls ▲stores, marts, and department stores ▲direct sales promotion centers ▲call centers ▲wedding halls, among others.
Business owners who wish to apply for the Safe Call service can do so through the Jungnang-gu Office website under Citizen Participation → Internet Application section. After application, the unique Safe Call number will be provided the next day.
Ryoo Kyung-gi, Mayor of Jungnang-gu, said, “Through this free telephone entry log communication fee support project, we hope visitors will be relieved of the inconvenience of logbook writing and business owners will reduce the burden of managing manual logs. We will spare no effort in thorough quarantine management and all other measures to protect the safety of our residents from COVID-19.”
