[Asia Economy Reporter Kim Heeyoon] Happycall announced on the 4th that it will introduce the ‘Paconnie Flexpan’ in collaboration with CGV, the largest movie theater chain in Korea.


The ‘Paconnie Flexpan’ was created by combining CGV’s official character 'Paconnie' and Happycall’s bestseller ‘Flexpan’. The combination of a soft white rubber-coated handle and a vivid yellow pan represents Paconnie, who has popcorn-like white hair and wears corn-colored clothes. Inside the pan, a cute Paconnie logo wearing a popcorn bucket hat is placed.


The ‘Paconnie Flexpan’ has a capacity of 1.6ℓ and a width of 22cm, making it usable not only as a frying pan but also as a royal pan or a one-hand pot. There are pouring rims of different sizes on both sides of the pan, making it easy to pour contents cleanly. It weighs 700g. The interior non-stick coating makes cooking and washing convenient, and the ceramic coating on the exterior enhances cleanliness.


The ‘Paconnie Flexpan’ is a non-sale item and can be obtained through various events hosted by both companies. First, to celebrate the release of the movie 'Sinkhole' on the 10th of this month, the product can be received by attending a special screening session called ‘Movie Fan Deal’ at CGV. Detailed information is available on the CGV mobile app.


Happycall plans to hold a ‘Paconnie Flexpan’ giveaway event on its official Instagram to commemorate the collaboration with CGV.


Lee Woojung, Executive Director of Product Planning and Development at Happycall, said, “This ‘Paconnie Flexpan’ is the result of breaking down industry boundaries and collaborating with CGV based on the shared goal of ‘giving customers a special experience and joy.’ We hope it will make the moment customers cook feel like a movie scene, just like its nickname, ‘the scene stealer of the kitchen.’”
