[Asia Economy Reporter Kim Hyemin] GS Construction is introducing the Xi brand in a prime location adjacent to Daegu Station.

GS Construction announced on the 3rd that it plans to supply the residential-commercial complex apartment "Daegu Station Xi The Star" officetel next month at 500-2, Chilseong-dong 2-ga, Buk-gu, Daegu.

This complex consists of 3 buildings with 5 basement floors and up to 47 floors above ground, totaling 505 units including 424 apartment households and 81 residential officetel units. The residential officetels will be available for sale next month.

The area around Daegu Station has recently transformed into a new residential town through redevelopment projects. This complex offers convenient access to both the Daegu Metro Line 1 and the Gyeongbu Line Daegu Station within walking distance, making travel within and outside the city easy. Right in front, Taepyeong-ro and Sincheon-daero provide easy access to anywhere in Daegu city.

Right in front of the complex is Lotte Department Store, and the Dongseong-ro commercial district, E-Mart, and Chilseong Market are all within walking distance. Nearby are cultural facilities such as the Concert House and the Daegu Complex Sports Town, which includes a gymnasium. The convenience of accessing the Jimsan-dong and Dongseong-ro academy districts is also an advantage.

All units of the officetel to be supplied this time are south-facing and come with options including built-in home appliances. Notably, the officetel units in this complex number fewer than 100, so there are no resale restrictions, and applications are possible regardless of the housing subscription system.

A GS Construction sales official said, "We will devote great effort to prepare so that this becomes another landmark following the nearby Daegu Station Central Xi, which was completed in 2017."

Move-in is scheduled for the first half of 2025.
