SmilePay Recently Launches Payment Service on 'BabaThe.com'
Expanding Service to Fashion Platform, Enhancing Shopping Convenience
Promotion for SmilePay Users Until the 31st
[Asia Economy Reporter Yuri Kim] eBay Korea announced on the 3rd that it has launched its easy payment service 'SmilePay' on the fashion platform 'BabaThe.com'.
SmilePay is a shopping-specialized easy payment service first introduced by eBay Korea in 2014. Through expansion of partnerships in food, dining, culture, fashion, beauty, leisure, language learning, and aviation sectors, it has approximately 16 million subscribers. By opening services on fashion platforms, it is focusing on expanding contact points with customers in their 20s and 30s. Starting with the introduction of SmilePay on W Concept in 2018, payment services are currently offered on ▲H Fashion Mall ▲Kolon Mall ▲Half Club ▲Discovery Expedition ▲Jeximix ▲StyleNanda, among others.
The newly launched SmilePay service on Baba Fashion's official online mall 'BabaThe.com' is a fashion platform showcasing all Baba Fashion brands such as Izzatbaba, Jigott, The Izzat Collection, JJ Jigott, as well as fashion, beauty, and high-end boutiques. SmilePay payment service was introduced in line with the official mall renewal of BabaThe.com at the end of last month.
With this service launch, payments on BabaThe.com can be made simply by entering the existing 6-digit SmilePay password. When paying with SmilePay using cash recharge, 2.0% of the amount is automatically accumulated as 'SmileCash', and when paying by card, 0.5% is accumulated, providing additional benefits.
A promotion to celebrate the service launch will run until the 31st. For the first payment over 100,000 KRW, an immediate discount of 10,000 KRW per ID is applied once. Detailed information can be found through the BabaThe.com mobile application.
