One is a family member of a confirmed case from another region, and the remaining one is under investigation for the infection route; both tested positive and were classified as numbers 7326 and 7328, respectively.
Among the confirmed cases in Changwon, seven tested positive after contact with confirmed cases within the province and were classified as numbers 7313, 7329, 7333~7337.
One is an overseas entrant who tested positive and was classified as number 7338.
Among the confirmed cases in Geoje, two are family members who were tested together due to symptom onset and tested positive, classified as numbers 7340 and 7341.
One is an acquaintance of a confirmed case within the province and tested positive, classified as number 7339.
One is a contact of a confirmed case from another region and tested positive, classified as number 7342.
The two confirmed cases in Miryang are an acquaintance and a family member of confirmed cases within the province, respectively, and tested positive, classified as numbers 7331 and 7332.
The one confirmed case in Jinju was tested due to symptom onset and tested positive, classified as number 7344.
The one confirmed case in Haman is a coworker of a confirmed case within the province and tested positive during quarantine, classified as number 7330.
Accordingly, the total cumulative confirmed cases in the province increased to 7,341 (1,099 hospitalized, 6,223 discharged, 19 deceased).
Meanwhile, the province will start pre-registration for vaccination targeting those aged 60 to 74 from this day.
