Yoyo Interactive announced that it will carry out the project “Development of VR Content and Simulator Specialized for Drone Missions in the Public Sector” in collaboration with the Korea Transportation Safety Authority.
The Korea Transportation Safety Authority’s Drone Integrated Training Center was established to train professionals who have secured safety standards, such as legal education for drone flight instructors. This time, together with Yoyo Interactive, a specialized company in building VR-based simulation training systems, they will develop the country’s first “Anti-Drone VR Education Content.”
To effectively train for “situations where practical training is difficult in real field conditions,” such as protecting national critical infrastructure, they will develop an “Anti-Drone Simulator” that is linked in real-time with VR content.
By setting situational scenarios on major terrains and landmarks, the “Anti-Drone VR Simulation Content” using the “Anti-Drone Gun” for jamming, shooting down, and GPS interference will be used for mission-specialized training.
