[Asia Economy Reporter Kim Heeyoon] Household goods company Lock&Lock announced on the 2nd that it has launched the ‘Suit IH Series,’ designed with optimal induction functions and user convenience in mind.

The ‘Suit IH Series’ is cookware planned in response to the increasing use of induction cooktops and growing interest in kitchen interior design. It consists of a total of seven types of pots and frying pans. The colors were released in pastel tones of mint and pink.

The product name Suit is derived from the English word ‘Suitable.’ The product, which applies true wide full-induction technology, maximizes the heat generation area to evenly deliver heat to the edges of the bottom. It has especially excellent thermal conductivity on induction cooktops.

Designed with convenience and safety in mind, the handles of the single-handle pots and frying pans are 3 cm shorter compared to products of the same size, allowing efficient use of cooking space on a three-burner induction cooktop. The body handles and pot lid handles are coated with heat-resistant rubber for safe use. The lid features a silicone rim to prevent impact on the edges, allowing it to open and close without rattling sounds or gaps. According to Lock&Lock, the body thickness is optimized at 3 mm to fit closely to the induction cooktop and be used without heat deformation, enhancing safety.

Additionally, the pots are coated with white ceramic coating, which is highly corrosion-resistant and durable, while the frying pans feature a gray non-stick coating to improve safety.

Son Youngjin, head of Lock&Lock’s cookware development team, said, “Lock&Lock Suit is a product developed to boil fastest and be most convenient to use on induction cooktops,” adding, “It was introduced as cookware that harmonizes with objet appliances by reflecting excellent functionality and kitchen interior trends.”
