[Asia Economy Reporter Kiho Sung] NH Nonghyup Bank announced on the 1st that it will launch a ‘special term deposit’ starting from the 2nd in celebration of its 60th anniversary.
The newly launched ‘NH Together for 60 Years, Happy Journey Deposit’ is the third product commemorating the 60th anniversary, following the previously released ‘NH Rural Savings’ and ‘NH Love You·Thank You Savings (sales ended)’. It is available for subscription at nationwide branches and through Nonghyup internet and smart banking, and will be sold up to a limit of 100 billion KRW until sold out or until the 31st of this month, approximately one month.
The subscription period is one year, with only one account allowed per person, and subscriptions can be made for a minimum of 3 million KRW and a maximum of 10 million KRW. Without any conditions, a special preferential interest rate of 0.80 percentage points is added, offering a maximum annual interest rate of 1.4% (as of August 1st).
To commemorate the product launch, an event titled ‘Boomerang, Love Comes Back!’ featuring customer pride messages will be held. Customers who subscribe to this product will be entered into a draw to win prizes including 1st prize LG Styler (1 winner), 2nd prize premium Korean beef set (2 winners), and 3rd prize Happy Money gift certificates worth 10,000 KRW (49 winners). Additionally, among subscribing customers born between 1960 and 1969, 100 will be selected by lottery to receive cake exchange vouchers.
Furthermore, a promotional event through SNS channels will also be conducted. Those who share the event page on NH Nonghyup Bank’s Facebook or Instagram accounts and leave a comment will be entered into a draw to receive a Baskin-Robbins single regular ice cream.
