[Asia Economy Reporter Hwang Sumi] A controversy over reuse has arisen after a toothbrush with foreign substances was found at a hotel in Haeundae-gu, Busan.
On the 30th, guest A, who visited a hotel in Haeundae-gu, Busan, received two disposable toothbrushes after checking in.
Soon after, A confirmed that one of the two toothbrushes still had white toothpaste on it. A immediately complained to the hotel and reportedly received three new toothbrushes.
According to the hotel, the toothbrushes provided are first wrapped in plastic and then packaged in a paper box as secondary packaging.
The hotel explained, "We provide toothbrushes and toothpaste products only upon customer request," adding, "We plan to thoroughly investigate the supplier and distribution process." They also added, "We have fully explained the inconvenience experienced by the guest, and the guest understood."
Meanwhile, A has also filed a complaint with the local government office, Haeundae-gu Office.
